Primary school lockers - Old Buckenham primary school
Old Buckenham primary school is a village primary school south of Norwich with just under 250 pupils.
The school chose to contact us after receiving recommendations from other schools. They also saw other successful primary school projects on our gallery page.
For a long time the school had problems with coats and bags falling off pegs, they knew it was time to invest in lockers to tidy up the corridors.
To save money and to limit disruption they decided to buy their lockers in phases starting with year six. Our key stage 2 locker has been designed for older primary age children and these were perfect for their needs.
Our primary school locker range has been designed from the ground up to suit the storage needs of younger children. Each compartment has ample room for bags, PE kit, packed lunches and coats. The lockers are manufactured in 380mm depths so that they don't take up too much valuable corridor space. Finally, instead of using pop rivets to build them we fully weld both the frames and doors. This makes the lockers much stronger than their competitors.
Lots of schools have problems with pipe work running along the walls, Old Buckenham is no different and to combat this we used a tailored cantilever stand which ensured the lockers fitted perfectly.
I'm sure you'll agree, the lockers look great and the corridors are much tidier.
