Ruislip High School, famously featured on The Inbetweeners, recently approached us to supply 63 Probe 4 Door Lockers for a large refurbishment project. The goal was to refresh their school corridors while keeping the design consistent with their existing branding colours.
To support their decision-making, we provided a complimentary colour layout chart. This allowed the school to clearly visualise different colour combinations before committing to their final choice. We offered several layout options, including both random and uniform patterns. After careful consideration, the school decided on a clean and simple layout that matched their preference for consistency.
Because of the project’s scale, we also discussed the cost-saving benefits of nesting the lockers in pairs or sets of three. However, the customer preferred to purchase individual units instead. This gave them more flexibility should they wish to relocate or reconfigure the lockers in the future.
When it came to locks, the school carefully considered the needs of high school students. Rather than choosing standard hasp & staple locks for padlocks, they selected mechanical combination locks. This decision was based on the fact that students typically have a good memory and appreciate the independence of not needing a physical key.
Finally, we arranged for installation as part of the overall quotation as requested by the customer. The lockers were fitted during the half-term break, which minimised disruption to staff and students. By scheduling the work outside of term time, we ensured a smooth process with no interference in the day-to-day running of the school.
This Ruislip High School project highlights how our Probe 4 Door Lockers can be tailored to meet both practical needs and school branding requirements, while also providing secure, flexible, and cost-effective storage for students.
